Nasi Goreng is a famous dishes in Asia, moreover in Indonesia, my home country. It is easy to make it, and somehow if you can cook Nasi Goreng beside "Indomie", you can be proudly told your friend that you can cook. Here is another recipe of Nasi Goreng, that I got from my brother in law who once post it on his facebook status (had no idea why), and I improvise with the basic ingredient that I have at home. Served Nasi Goreng together with the sliced of Omellette. Bon Appetite ! If you have opportunity to go to Indonesia, you will find out many kind of Nasi Goreng. It was easy to know from their name, what kind of ingredients that they used. It called Nasi Goreng Ayam, if they used piece of chicken inside. It called Nasi Goreng Seafood, if they used Seafood inside (usually squid/shrimp/fish meatball). It calles Nasi Goreng Kambing, if they used goat meat. It called Nasi Goreng Sapi/Daging, if they used meat of cow. It called Nasi Goreng Babi, if they used pork meat inside, and it is not hallal for my moslem friend. The most popular is Nasi Goreng Special. They call it "Special" because they use eggs inside/aside the Nasi Goreng. Why Special ? I do not know. Perhaps because the more universal one, everyone can eat it, include my Indian friend and my friend who is on diet. Who knows ?
