No, I do not learn Italian. French language is enough for me to get headache (LOL) to decide taken another language apart Dutch that I've been learnt before. I used almost the same title on the recipe I made tonight. As usual, the idea taken from the recipe book I had. The original one using white wine, but since I do not have it, so I skip it. The same with tuna, I used canned tuna. It was better to use chunk tuna, thus you do not need to cut the tuna. So, here is my recipe of Linguine con Tonno or Linguini with Tuna.

This recipe is inspired by my Nasi Goreng Special recipe mixed with Chinese Nasi Goreng. So, one day, when I had mâche/lamb lettuce left to cook and small pineapple to eat, then I had an idea to make this dishes. I do not know whether your tongue can accept this taste, but I assure you that it is worth to try. The sweet pineapple enrich the taste of the Nasi Goreng, and I think I will made it again soon. This recipe I made based on one of my recipe book. As usual, several ingredients missed, but this time I can say many, because the original recipe is using eggs noodles, and supposed to be a la Thai. I give name for my recipe a la Asie because I think not really like Pad Thai that I knew, moreover I change the green bean with corn. So, I prefer to call it a la Asie. Moreover my husband told me that it just like Mie Goreng, but it was not. I hope you like it *crossmyfinger* Me myself, I like it, for change. Ingredients (for 2 up to 3 persons) : - Pasta spaghetti for 2 person - 150gr beef meat - 125gr corn canned - 50gr mushroom - 1/2 red onion - 1 tea-spoon ginger powder - 1 tea-spoon oyster sauce - 1 tbsp soja sauce - dry coriander - 1tbsp olive oil - Salt & Pepper Preparation : - Using sauce pan, cook spaghetti on salty boil water for around 8 up to 10 minutes, take 100ml boil water from pasta, put it separate, and drained the pasta and put it separate. - Cut meat on a sliced and put it separate. - Cut mushroom on small pieces and put it separate. - Peel red onion, and cut it on minced sliced, put it separate. How to Cook : - Using frying ^pan, cook meat and onion with olive oil on medium heat. - When meat half cook, add mushroom and cook again until meat well cooked. - Add cooked pasta, ginger, oyster sauce, soja sauce, salt and pepper. Mix them well and cook again for another 5 minutes. - Add corn and dry coriander, and mixed them well. - Taste it and ad salt/pepper/soja sauce if necessary. If you think your pasta too salty, you can add a bit water from boiling pasta inside your dishes. Mixed them well and cook it again. - Take it out and served it on the plate. Selamat Makan ... (= Bon Appétit) .. I really hope you like this recipe. Me myself I love corn, and somehow I think it's fit with this pasta and soja dishes, or perhaps all my love with corn make me blind. I hope not.
I found out the oyster sauce make this dishes a bit salty. That's why I suggest to separate a bit water from boiling pasta, and add it on your mixed sauted pasta if necessary to avoid too salty. Enjoy ! (/fin) December indentic with Christmas, and it is our second Christmas here in Bourgogne, thus we want this Christmas is different than last year. Last year, no time to buy Christmas Tree, thus I used my Christmas Lego series to decorate Christmas at home. This year, we busy to buy here and there Christmas ornament, and I had no time to write a recipe, but still keep cooking at least for dinner. This time I want to share another easy way and quick way to cook. If you have not much time. This cappelletti you can buy the ready to cook one to save the time. If you do not have zucchini, you can keep stick with sauce tomate. It was good as well. Welcome December ! The favourite of month of the year for me, because December means Christmas and it is winter (I hope it will be snowing soon ..), and soon will be new year and my birthday :) This time I wrote a dishes that not really favourite of my husband. After I cook, he said it was good, but he's not really fancy with curry. So, why I cook curry when he didn't like it ? Actually it's just because we have fresh mushroom at home, and I have several vegetables to finish (to cook), so I search some ideas from internet, and found out the recipe for this curry. The original recipe actually for vegetarian, but since we both are not, then I have idea to add chicken inside. I also change aubergine with zucchini, because I do not like aubergine and never stocked it at home. The original recipe named One-pot mushroom & potato curry. I prefer to call it curry chicken with mushroom and potato. It was good to eat it with rice. So, here is my first curry dishes ... Ingredients (for 2 up to 3 persons) : - 1 white onion - 1 breast of chicken - 3 up to 4 small/medium potato - 1 zucchini - 150gr fresh mushroom - 3tbsp curry - 300ml coconut milk - dry coriander - salt & pepper - 1 tbsp olive oil Preparation : - Cut breast chicken on a small cube size around 1cm. Put it separate. - Cut mushroom on slice, and put it separate. - Peel the potato, and cut it on a small cube size around 1cm. Put it separate. - Peel onion, and cut it on slice minced. Put it separate. - Peel zucchini, and cut it on a small cube size around 1cm. Put it separate. How to cook ; - Using sauce pan, heat olive oil on medium heat for around 1 minute. - Add onion, potato and chicken. Close sauce pan with a lid. Let it cook for around 5 minutes or until potato and chicken half cook. - Add zucchini and mushroom, cook again for around 15 minutes. - Add curry and coconut milk. - Add salt, pepper and coriander. Cook again until boiling. - Add again coriander and take it out. - Served it with rice. My husband said it was like Indian dishes. I said I have no idea, but it supposed to be vegetarian food. Thanks to the chicken inside, he still can accept it. Imagine if all is vegetables !
If you're vegetarian, you can cook it without the chicken, or perhaps it was better with aubergine. I do not know, but I prefer zucchini more. Well, at least I have another idea if I we have a guest who vegetarian. I can cook this again, but forgive me my love, it means I should take out chicken inside (or put it separate). (/fin) |
