This recipe is a bit similar with the previous recipe that I wrote : Soupe aux Asperge, Carotte et Mais. It's familiar with the name Sup Asparagus Kepiting or Soup Crab Asparagus. This time I have canned crab to make my soup. This dishes I can cook without reading the recipe (more and less). Just like Spaghetti Bolognaise and Nasi Goreng. What made this post a bit special, if you notice, I use another handmade ceramic we made during our visit to Jakarta. This time the bowl is handmade by my husband. He made bowl of soup with glossy white colour as a base and blue around.

Perhaps due to I want to share some of healthy food, or perhaps I want to share to you, the idea to cook Something that you can found it easily. If I told you that I use all the canned vegetables, you may say, "Hey, it is not healthy at all". But, sometimes you buy some canned vegetables or canned food just for emergency purpose, no time to buy fresh vegetables or no much time to cook as well. We usually keep canned haricot vert (long beans), mais (corn) and champignon (mushroom). At the time like this time, Have no idea what to cook, then all canned food will be my savior. This time I want to share my new recipe from vegetables. In Indonesia we called it Tumis Wortel-Tauge, or in English I can translate as Carrot Bean Sprout Stir Fry. Tumis or Stir Fry is the common way to cook vegetables in Indonesia. I do not know whether in Chine as well, but in Indonesia if we have Chinese restaurant, they have many kinds of stir fry vegetables. This one I made because I have carrots and want to cook vegetables other than make a salad or Ratatouille, because Ratatouille become a common dishes that I cook whenever I need to eat vegetables beside made a salad. At first my husband a bit skeptic with my dishes, but then after he tried, he said it was delicious. Well, it's not common for French to eat or cook stir fry. They prefer salad or potatoes or pasta. This recipe I got from internet, in order to search any other way to cook potatoes. When I told and show my husband the recipe I found on my IPhone, he saw and just make short comment, "Are you sure ? It was not easy to cook". That's how he encourage me (NOT). Moreover when he saw it before I put it on the oven, he was more discourage. But surprisingly, it run well, eventhough I almost destroy one sauce pan, because too long to cook the milk :p I can tell you, even until today, I still try to rescue those my sauce-pan. And when he taste it, he said that it is good, and surprise that I can succeed on my first attemp to cook it. He just do not understand how persistant his wife is (LOL). So, here is the recipe ... |
