The challange when you write a blog about recipe, you will feel boring to cook the same dishes everytime. So, thanks to some recipe book I have, sometimes before dinner time, I spent my time to read and search any idea what to cook for tonight. It was not easy too, consider that not all ingredients available at home. So I need to adjust here and there. This recipe is used when I was so bored to cook bolognaise, and there're minced beef left at the refrigerator. I found this recipe on one of my recipe book : "1 million menu du monde", and after try it, i can suggest this for snack/appéritif or you can mixed it on your pasta. For mixed it with the pasta I will tell you on different segments. Ingredients (for 2 up to 3 persons) : - 350gr minced beef - 1 medium white onion - 1 up to 2 garlic - 1/2 teaspoon dry cumin or powder - 1/2 teaspoon curry - dry coriander - 3 up to 4 tbsp olive oil - Salt & Pepper Preparation : - Peel and minced white onion on shape of cubes, put it separate. - Peel garlic, pressed and cut it minced. Put it separate. How to Cook : - Using salad bowl, mixed garlic and white onion. - Add minced beef, cumin, curry, coriander, salt and pepper. - Mixed them well and mold them on the shape of small ball with diameter around 3cm. Put it separate. - Using frying pan, heat olive oil on medium heat for around 1 minute. - Put round of mix beef on the frying pan and cook for around 4 minutes each side. - Take it out and served it on the bowl. Bon Appétit ! If you like curry or indian food, you can add more curry and cumin. If possible, mince white onion on small pieces, it makes you more easier to mold the beef on the small ball shape.
This boulettes de boeuf à la coriandre is good snack or appéritif. In Indonesia we called it bakso daging. Bakso = meatball in Bahasa. Enjoy .. (/fin)
