This recipe inspired by Capcay. Capcay is a dishes from vegetables (majority) that you can found at Jakarta. It had the name like from Chinese, but actually it comes from Indonesia. Perhaps long long times ago, our anchestor from Chinese (Indonesian anchestor comes from many places such as Malay, Chinese, India and Arabian) bring the way of cooking that comes now as local dishes. When people are on diet, many times they makes Capcay as one of favourite dishes, because most of it are vegetables, the other parts just additional that can be added like shrimp, chicken or meatball. Then their names will follow additional ingredients inside. For example if you add chicken then it called Capcay Ayam (Ayam = Chicken in Bahasa), and if you add many seafood inside such as shrimp, fish meatball, then it called Capcay Seafood. The original vegetables that usually must have on Capcay is : Carrot, Cabbage, young Corn, white Broccoli, Leek, Pak Choy and Parsley. Actually I only had carrot and the rest is never found at Capcay. That's why I do not called my recipe as Capcay, but just the name of mixed of vegetables inside. Ingredients (for 2 persons) :

As you can see, I serve this Carrot, Zucchini and Green Pepper vegetables with rice and Grill Salmon. You can serve it with other carbohiydrate. If you're on diet (regim), you can eat this dishes directly.
Please make sure that better to have a bit sauce (not too sticky), that's why everytime you add water, makes sure you taste it, and add another salt & pepper inside again if necessary. (/fin)
