My recipe this time is using macaroni, or in France we call it coquillettes. I should name it Coquillettes Beef and Cheese actually, because I use coquillettes that I brought from France. But I prefer to call my recipe is Macaroni Beef and Cheese, because the idea I got from googling macaroni recipes. The thing that I like from this recipe, is because it doesn't need oven at all. As you know, we do not have oven or grill at home at Jakarta, thus to have macaroni recipe without oven is something that I adore a lot. Here we go ... Ingredients (for 2 persons) : - Pasta macaroni/coquillettes for 2 persons - half white onion/bawang bombay - 2 up to 3 garlic - 2 tomate - 150gr minced beef - 3tbsp tomate sauce - 2tbsp olive oil - 15 up to 20gr butter - 3 up to 4tbsp parmesan cheese - Salt & Pepper - dry basilic - dry parsley - chilli sauce Preparation : - Using saucepan, cook macaroni/coquillettes on salty boily water around 10 minutes (al dente,as instructed on packaged). After macaroni/coquillettes well cook, take 20-25cl water from pasta, and then drained the pasta. Put it separate. - Peel onion, and cut it on sliced/minced. Put it separate. - Peel garlic and cut it on minced. Put it separate. - Peel tomate and cut it on small cubes. Put it separate. How to Cook : - Using frying pan, heat olive oil on medium heat for 30second, then add minced beef. - Add sliced onion, salt and pepper and cook them well. - When beef half cook, add garlic, basilic, tomate and tomate sauce, cook again until beef well cook. - Add butter and let them melting. - Add cooked pasta, a bit of pasta water (around 10 up to 20cl). - Add parmesan cheese and mixed them well. Cook again for around 5 minutes. - Take out and served it on the plate. - Add dry parsley for garnish and a bit of chilli sauce on top of it. Bon Appétit ! If you do not like chilli sauce, you can skip it.I think the picture of the chilli sauce on top of macaroni is a bit strange (LOL), that's why I choose another picture to put on my instagram. I wish I have another melting cheese for my recipe. Perhaps another time, I will try it with melting cheese. Hmmm ...., just to imagine it already my mouth watering. Next time .., yep, for next time ...
Please make sure you do not missed it. So, keep visiting my blog to find it out. (/fin)
