Perhaps you will say that I'm not creative at all, what is the different between this recipe and Spaghetti Bolognaise recipe that I posted months ago. Well, if you know where I am right now, perhaps you will undertstand me ..... a bit. Yes, a little bit. After one week struggle with jet-lag, humidity (I more feel heat than humidity) and polution of Jakarta, I decide to continue to write and post something. At least I can say, "Hey, this is my first cook at Jakarta ...., again". Well, actually this is the second, because I start cooking again last night after buy some ingredients from supermarket. Surprisingly, my stomach is not habituel (not usual) with food from restaurant here. I do not know why. It is really sadness, consider I leave this city less than one year. Anyway, here is my cook again at Jakarta. Enjoy .. Ingredients (for 2 persons) : - Pasta penne for 2 persons - 100gr minced beef - Half onion - 2 garlic - 3 tomates - dry parsley - dry oregano - dry basilic - salt & pepper - half tbsp sugar - half tbsp tomato sauce - 1tbsp olive oil Preparation : - Peel onion and cut it on sliced. Put it separate. - Peel garlic, and cut it on minced. Put it separate. - Peel tomate and cut it on shape of small cubes 0.5cm, put it separate. - Using sauce pan, cook pasta penne on salty boil water for around 15 up to 20 minutes. Drained it after and ad a bit of olive oil and mixed them well. How to Cook : - Using frying pan, heat olive oil on medium heat for around half minutes, add garlic. - Add onion and cook again around one minute. - Add minced beef and cook again until beef well cook. - Add sugar, salt, pepper, origano, basilic and mixed them well. - Add tomato, tomato sauce and parsley. Add again a bit pepper. Mixed them well. - Cook again and press the tomate until it mixed well with the beef. Cook until tomate well cook. - Take it out and put it separate. - Served well cooked pasta penne on the plate and pour the beef bolognaise sauce on top of it. - You can add parmesan cheese or sweet chilli on top of the beef bolognaise pasta if you like. - Your Penne sauce Beef Bolognaise ready to eat. Bon Appétit ! You may think why it took so long to cook the pasta (I said 15 up to 20 minutes). That's because I use whole grained pasta, and I do not know why, I found out the pasta here (in Jakarta) I need to cook longer than in France. If you have any scientific explanation, you may help me and tell me. So far, that's what I do it.
Well, let's hope I can post more and more my cooking during my visit in Indonesia. I hope so as well, because I have many things to do here, and sometimes I ended up too tired to cook, and just eat at restaurant. Eventhough I admitted, that the price eat outside now at Jakarta is increase than last year. So dine out is become more and more expensive as well here like in France. But sometimes we dine out just because we missed some of the food here that we can't found it (or not easy to find) in France. Like last week we eat at Bakmi GM (remember my post about Bakmi Ayam Jamur?), Tokyo Belly Ramen and dine out in Premier Cinema (the last one is the experience that too expensive to do in France). So, enjoy my cooking and enjoy Jakarta! (/fin)
